萬向聯軸器采用十字軸承聯接兩端聯接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優(yōu)異，在現代工業(yè)領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯軸器使用的場合相近，主要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯軸器采用整體式叉頭布局，主要用于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯軸器。

萬向節(jié)聯軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯軸器聯接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設備運行事故。

扭力限制器又名扭矩限制器、力矩限制器、BMOOM限制器等，其價格便宜、結構簡單、方便拆裝維護、過載后反應速度快、設定扭矩精確度高、使用壽命更長，配一個微型開關過載后能輸出電信號以方便報警或自動停掉電機。扭力聯軸器廣泛應用于電子裝備行業(yè)、自動化生產線、輸送機行業(yè)等。

扭矩聯軸器是聯接主動機與工作機的一種部件，主要功能為過載保護，力矩聯軸器是當超載或機械故障而導致所需扭矩超過設定值時，它以打滑形式限制傳動系統(tǒng)所傳動的扭力，打滑的同時也能一個信號輸出停掉電機和減速機，當過載情形消失后自行恢復聯結。
