萬向聯(lián)軸器采用十字軸承聯(lián)接兩端聯(lián)接法蘭，可以傳遞完全不在同一軸線的扭矩，對角向的補償可達25?以上，采用花鍵聯(lián)接可以大距離地補償軸向位移。萬向軸承載能力高，傳動效率優(yōu)異，在現(xiàn)代工業(yè)領域被廣泛采用。

SWP十字萬向聯(lián)軸器采用剖分式叉頭布局，與SWC十字萬向聯(lián)軸器使用的場合相近，主要運用在重載大型裝備領域，回轉直徑可達1200mm。

SWC十字萬向聯(lián)軸器采用整體式叉頭布局，主要用于軋鋼機械，起重運輸機械等其他重型裝備領域，回轉直徑可到1600mm，扭矩傳遞距離可達30m以上，是運用相當廣泛的萬向聯(lián)軸器。

萬向節(jié)聯(lián)軸器的不同軸可能是徑向位移，傾斜或兩者兼而有之。測量同軸度應在十字軸萬向聯(lián)軸器端面和圓周上均勻分布的四個位置進行。十字軸式萬向聯(lián)軸器聯(lián)接的機泵在安裝過程中都不可避免地要進行同軸度的調整，使對輪既同心又平行，否則將影響機泵使用效率或造成設備運行事故。

梅花聯(lián)軸器由兩個帶凸爪形裝的半聯(lián)和一個硬度可以調整的梅花形彈性非金屬元件組成，利用梅花形彈性元件嵌入兩個半聯(lián)之間實現(xiàn)聯(lián)接，梅花彈性聯(lián)軸器具有補償兩軸相對位移，減振緩沖，結構簡單，無需潤滑維護方便等特點。

星形彈性聯(lián)軸器是以工程塑料作彈性元件，適用于聯(lián)接兩同軸線的傳動軸系，星形聯(lián)軸器具有補償兩軸相對偏移、緩沖、減震、耐磨性能，適應場合普遍，傳遞轉矩20-35000.N.M,工作溫度-35-+80攝氏度。星型聯(lián)軸器聚氨脂彈性體由凸形爪塊限制。

梅花形聯(lián)軸器以聚氨脂塑料為彈性元件與二半聯(lián)軸器主體緊密組合,主體以進口配方合金鋁為主。梅花型聯(lián)軸器中間聚氨脂塑料元件以獨有配方配制,具有耐磨性高抗溫性好韌性強,與一般普通塑膠件質量穩(wěn)定耐用. 梅花型體有六瓣和八瓣,根據客戶要求定制. 固定方式有鍵槽.

The plum-shaped flexible coupling is composed of two semi-couplings with convex claws and a plum-shaped flexible non-metallic element whose hardness can be adjusted. By embedding the plum-shaped flexible element into the two semi-couplings to realize the connection, plum couplings has the characteristics of compensating the relative displacement of the two axes, reducing vibration and buffering, simple structure and easy maintenance without lubrication.

靠背輪聯(lián)軸器用來將不同機構中的主動軸和從動軸牢固地聯(lián)接起來一同旋轉，并傳遞運動和扭矩的機械部件。有時也用以聯(lián)接軸與其他零件（如齒輪、帶輪等）。

靠背輪常由兩半合成，分別用鍵或緊配合等聯(lián)接，緊固在兩軸端，再通過某種方式將兩半聯(lián)接起來。

靠背輪聯(lián)軸器可兼有補償兩軸之間由于制造安裝不精確、工作時的變形或熱膨脹等原因所發(fā)生的偏移（包括軸向偏移、徑向偏移、角偏移或綜合偏移）；以及緩和沖擊、吸振。

靠背輪為俗稱，專業(yè)叫法為聯(lián)軸器以及法蘭，用于機械設備的連接。
